Garba or Dandiya is a dance form that honours worship & celebrates the feminine form of divinity. Garba is a traditional Indian form of celebration considered to be performed barefoot.

This dance form originated in the villages of Gujarat where the entire community performed together.

Performing Garba may require a lot of energy, expression, timing & coordination.

Also, the costume in which the dance must be performed is slightly on the heavier side & thus it demands practising in the costume as well.

AM Dance Studio has been actively conducting Garba workshops whereby couples, singles, families participate together during the Navaratri time-frame and perform in groups.
